Starr Theriault Mersereau's earthly journey came to a peaceful close on October 5th, 2023. Born in North Conway, New Hampshire, on January 3, 1949, to Gerald and Betty (Duguay)Mersereau, she graduated from Chester High School in 1967. Starr's life was a rich tapestry of experiences across various states, but Spain held a special place in her heart, where she welcomed her first child.
Starr leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted sisters, Margie Rice (and husband Mark) and Lorna Basford (and husband Wesley). She is fondly remembered by Aunt Patsy Rogerson, Uncle Norris Mersereau, and numerous cherished cousins. Starr's legacy is carried forward by her children, Terrie-Lynn (Partner Johnnie), Joe, Gerry, Debbie, and Andrew, as well as her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She is also mourned by her niece and nephew, Mark and Martha Rice.
A future burial is planned at Bartlett Village Cemetery in Bartlett, NH, where Starr will rest peacefully beside her parents and brother. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to The Lathrop Home and CDH visiting nurses for their care and support during this challenging time. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice are appreciated. Starr's memory will forever warm our hearts and inspire us.
