NORTHAMPTON-Patricia Ann Murphy, 85 of Union Street passed away on Friday after a brief illness at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Pat was the daughter of the late Theodore & Vivian (Haverty) Schmitter. Patricia was a longtime resident of Northampton and was the co-owner along with her husband Gerald, of Pat & Mike’s Antiques & Collectibles. Pat loved going to antique shows, annual trips to Brimfield and traveling throughout the country. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and holiday gatherings. Pat loved all animals, especially manatees. She leaves her beloved husband of 66 years, Gerald Murphy. Her devoted children; Lisa Lamirande and her husband Stephen of Griswold, CT., Kellie Beck and her husband Paul of Canterbury, CT., and Tertia Hammond and her husband Glenn of Southampton as well as her seven grandchildren; Megan, Brittany, Kelsey, Erin, Eric, Caitlin, Tyler and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 at AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 Bridge Rd., from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a Religious Service at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Pat’s wishes were to be cremated, and burial services will be private at a later date.
