She then worked in several retail establishments, ending her career as a retiree of UMass Amherst in 2003. A two-time survivor of cancer, Marge spent her retirement years helping others by volunteering with both the Cancer Connection of Northampton and the local hospital. She enjoyed making cross stich baby blankets for her grandchildren.
Marge was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Florence, and her brother Tom. She is survived by her children, Debra (David) Rejniak of Florence Ma, Jan Cole of Greenfield, MA and Scott Ebbeling of Elliot Maine. She also leaves a brother, Robert (Lorna) Leary of Charlton, Ma. The family requests that donations be made to either the Cancer Connection in Northampton or the Resident Activity Fund at the Greenfield Rehabilitation Facility in lieu of flowers. There will be a celebration of life on June 13th, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ahearn Funeral Home, Bridge Road, Northampton MA.
