Marianne Larochelle

July 9, 1957 — April 25, 2025

Marianne LaRochelle, 67, of Williamsburg passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 after her courageous battle with Inclusion Body Myositis. Marianne was born in Northampton on July 9, 1957 to the late Ralph and Barbara (Morse) Smart. She grew up in Northampton and went to local schools. Marianne was an office clerk at the Northampton VA for many years and was loved by her patients and coworkers. She would do anything for anyone and loved to have a good party with her friends. Marianne was a great advocate for herself and spent much time studying her diagnosis, seeing doctors, looking for answers and not giving up on herself. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Jessica Warner, her granddaughters Peyton and Madison Mackey and her Grandson Bret Casella as well as her 2 great grandsons William and Elijah Chicoine, and her three brothers Clifford Smart, Jay Smart and Gregory Smart. Marianne was pre-deceased by her loving husband Paul LaRochelle, her son Jeremy Warner and her brother Ralph Smart Jr. Calling hours for Marianne will be held Thursday, May 8th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M at Ahearn Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.
