Lois E. (Mollison) Bacon

Lois Emeline (Mollison) Bacon, 88yrs., daughter of J. Stewart and Emeline Tompkins Mollison, died peacefully in her home on December 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Williamsburg High School class of 1952. She was married to her husband for 53 years before his death in 2006. Prior to her marriage she worked for the Whale Inn and the Packard family. She was a home maker and devout member of the Goshen Congregational Church. She was also active in the Ladies Benevolent Association of the church for many years. She was a member and participated in many activities of the Goshen Women’s Club. She enjoyed socializing at the Council on Aging luncheons each month.
She is survived by her children Dennis Bacon of Worthington, Cynthia Kelley (Richard) of Florence and Virginia Kelley (Norman) of Mt Holly Springs, PA, her grandchildren Michelle Paradee (George), James Bacon, Elisa Bender, Marc Kelley, Emeline Bean (Jonathan), Liam Kelley and great grandchildren Kamila, Carson, Braxton and Jackson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Esther Korowski and Ruth Dresser of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Edward Bacon and son Paul E Bacon and 4 brothers George, Harold, James and Charles and sister Elisabeth.
There will be no calling hours.
A service is planned for Friday, June 9, 2023. Time to be announced at a later date.
