Linda J. Mazeski

NORTHAMPTON-Linda J. Mazeski,76, of Coles Meadow Road in Northampton passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was a resident of Western Massachusetts for many years and had also resided in West Palm Beach, Florida. Linda was born in Northampton, on July 6, 1947 a daughter of the late John Palmisano and Wanda (Rybecki) Klys. She was educated in local schools and received her degree in Liberal Arts from Greenfield Community College. She worked many years as a secretary and for a long time as the Secretary for several Principals at Northampton High School. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Northampton Country Club, Pine Grove Golf Course, and the Western Massachusetts Women’s Golf Association. She was a familiar sight in the Western Massachusetts Golf scene. Linda was the longtime partner of the late Thomas Toski and his caregiver in his final years, Tom passed away in May of 2023. She leaves her sister, Beverly Suchanek (Richard Sr.) of Greenfield, nephew William W. Melnik Jr. (Angel) of Amherst, New Hampshire, niece Kimberly Melnik (Michael LaRiviere) of Florence and many dear friends in Massachusetts and Florida. The family would especially like to thank the Sylvester sisters, Kathy & Sue for the love, care and dignity they showed Linda these past years.
A CALLING HOUR WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 25, 2024 AT THE AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 BRIDGE RD., NORTHAMPTON FROM 10:00 TO 11:00 A.M. WITH A RELIGIOUS SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Polish National Cemetery, Elm Court, Hatfield.
