Linda M. Bean

Linda M. (Routhier) Bean, 72, of Spring street passed away at Cooley Dickinson Hospital on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Northampton and graduated from Easthampton High school. She met Lawrence Bean and after a whirlwind romance of one week they were married and have been at each other’s side for 44 years. She received her certification as a hairdresser at Braums Academy in Holyoke. She worked at various salons through out the years, and also had her own Salon in Florence with many wonderful customers that will miss her. Linda loved the beach and traveling with her family. She and her beloved husband Larry traveled to many places including Hawaii and Bermuda and summer vacations in Lake George and Maine. She loved motorcycle rides with Larry with no destination in mind, just a nice long ride. She always kept a clean home and never left the house a mess. She was a wonderful wife, mother and especially grandmother. She had a huge heart and was kind to everyone. She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 44 years, Lawrence “Larry” Bean. Her loving children; Jonathan Bean and his wife Emeline Bean, Jordan Bean and his wife Kelsey all of Goshen and Tori Nadeau of Southampton. Her cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Madison, Rielyn, Walter and Preston. Her siblings; Keith Routhier of Easthampton and Joanne and her husband Sterling of Holyoke and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; George Routhier and Alan Routhier. The family invites you to join them on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 Bridge Road, Northampton from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. for calling hours followed by a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at a later date.
