Kevin R. Boyle

October 14, 1948 — November 1, 2022

Kevin R. Boyle,74 of 35 Fruit St. Northampton MA. passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022. Kevin was born October 14, 1948, in Northampton MA, a son of Alfred H. Boyle and Catherine V. (Bates) of Florence, MA.

Kevin grew up in Northampton and began his career with D.A. Sullivan and received his union carpenter's license.

Kevin embraced all of life's adventures with enthusiasm. In his youth he was an avid skier, fisherman, hunter, and anything to do with the outdoors. Later in life he loved to garden and was excited to see and eat the fruits of his labor, especially his beloved tomatoes. He enjoyed being in the kitchen to cook for family and friends. He very much enjoyed his classes at Hill Institute, especially theorem painting and basket weaving.

He liked to sing and dance, and you couldn't miss his voice among the others because he loved it so much however he couldn't carry a tune much to his disappointment.

Chess or a cribbage board were always at hand, and he welcomed a game anytime day or night. Believe me when I say he loved to win! His daughters Jessica, Rebekah and his granddaughter Ella Mae were the apple of his eye.

Kevin leaves his daughters, Jessica Bates Boyle of Leominster, MA, and Rebekah Dee Boyle and his granddaughter Ella Mae Chaplinsky, both of Bradenton, FL; his brothers David M. Boyle of South Deerfield, and Christopher J. Boyle of Florence; and his sister Eileen T. Buckowski of Northampton.

His brother John A. Boyle predeceased him.

If you knew my brother you know even on his worst day, he would look you straight in the eye and say, " I never had a bad day!" and that's how he lived his life-
