Keith D. Rodgers

Keith D. Rodgers, of Florence, passed away on May 5, 2023, at his sister’s home with family.
He was born Feb. 25, 1967, in Northampton, the son of the late Shirley (Steidler) Rodgers. Keith graduated from Smith Vocational High School in Northampton. He worked as a cook for many years at the Webster’s Fish Hook Restaurant.
He enjoyed fishing at the local fishing spots and had fond memories of casting his line up at Willards in Florence. Keith loved the sport of football; he was a great New England Patriots fan. He was an avid cook; his greatest joy was cooking and barbequing for his family and friends. He took great pride in his cooking abilities; he was always given the task of preparing the holiday turkey or prime rib, a task he did to perfection.
Keith leaves behind his loving aunt, Irene Steidler of Florence, his siblings, Mark Rodgers and his wife Cynthia of Kannapolis, North Carolina and Susan North and husband James of Florence. He also leaves behind a nephew Daniel North and wife Tiffany, a niece Jessica North, a great-nephew Cole and a great-niece Paige.
Calling hours will be Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4 to 5pm, followed by a service at 5pm at the Ahearn Funeral Home, Northampton.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
