Jesse Cooper Johansmeyer, 19, of Burts Pit Rd. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from injuries sustained in an accident earlier in the evening. Jesse was loved by his family and friends; he will be forever in their hearts. Jesse was born in Exeter, NH, a son of Darlene Thorpe and Michael Johansmeyer. He was raised and educated in local schools and graduated from Northampton High School. Jesse excelled in Sports, playing Hockey and Lacrosse for the Easthampton Eagles. He loved the outdoors, the beach, enjoying Rock Climbing, Bridge jumping, river swimming, backflips, Snorkeling, Surfing, Skiing, Snowboarding and Hiking. Jesse loved spending time with his dogs, long carefree walks and simple times spent with them. Jesse loved Toyotas, Miata’s, motorcycle rides, and also playing Steam games in the virtual online world. He was a hardworking person from a young age. Jesse worked alongside his brother at Jebediah’s Property Maintenance, for the Town of Hadley DPW and most recently for Aaron’s Towing as a licensed Towing Technician. He leaves his loving parents; Darlene Thorpe and Michael Johansmeyer. His devoted siblings; Willow Vandoloski and her husband Wade of Hadley and Jeb Johansmeyer of Florence. His many close friends-Ginger, Matt, Meg McCutcheon and the McCutcheon family, Max, Chris, Clark, Ian, Luke, Ryan, Ben and so many more who he loved and they loved him. He will be forever missed by his four legged friends; Sky, Star, Max, Zoe, Nel and Diesel.
