GOSHEN ~ Gregory J. Linscott, 67, of Bissell Rd. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening at his home. Greg was born on June 19, 1956, in Northampton, a son of Burton and Harriet (Ice) Linscott. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Hampshire Regional High School. Greg was a member of Laborer’s Local 596 for many years. He worked throughout the Valley on many projects including the Vermont Yankee decommissioning, many Amherst College projects and with Blue Rock on area Electrical Power stations. Greg married Denise Kirouac on March 30, 1985 and they shared 38 years of family, memories and love together. Greg loved his children and grandchildren, often dropping everything to spend time with them. He never missed a softball game, baseball game or fishing derby from his sons to his grandchildren. Greg always kept abreast of his sons lives, talking to them every day. He enjoyed watching baseball and NASCAR. Greg loved music and especially enjoyed playing the Electric guitar with friends for many years. Greg really enjoyed fishing, “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work”. Greg was a man with many catch phrases, ones to always remember with his sons; “Don’t sweat the small stuff, tomorrow’s another day” and “Never give up you can get through anything” Greg leaves his beloved wife, Denise (Kirouac) Linscott. His devoted sons who were everything to him; Gregory Linscott Jr. and his partner Jillian Golask, Robert Linscott and his partner Ciara Sinno and Mitchell Linscott and his partner Billi Jean Willard. His three cherished grandchildren; Brice Linscott Willard, Grace Linscott Willard and Riley Linscott. He also leaves his dear brother, Gary Linscott, many nieces, nephews and cousins in the extended Linscott and Kirouac families.

BURIAL WILL BE IN THE SPRING IN VILLAGE HILL CEMETERY, WILLIAMSBURG.
