Gary Lavalley

Gary LaValley, longtime resident of Northampton, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024. Gary was a man about town, kind, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He was a deeply loyal friend and maintained relationships in the Northampton community for decades. Gary always had time to talk, whether he was downtown, in a local shop, or sitting on his front steps.
Gary was pre-deceased by his long-term close friend Alan Rainville. The two of them would spend their days playing cards, cooking, and feeding birds in the park. Gary enjoyed music and had a love for reading. He was a remarkably charming man.
Gary leaves behind three sisters, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held Friday December 20th, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Road Northampton.
Burial will be private.
