WORTHINGTON-Christopher Roy Patterson, 64, of Worthington passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning with his devoted partner, Cindy Dubchak at his side. Chris or “Outback Pat” as he was known to family and friends, was born in Northampton, the son of the late Robert and Sandra (Duda) Patterson. He was educated in local schools. Chris was a longtime truck driver and operator with the Westfield Quarry of John S. Lane Construction. He had previously worked for Westfield Sand & Gravel for many years. “Outback Pat“ loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping or quadding with family and friends whenever he had a spare moment. He loved going to his camp in NY with friends for annual gatherings and hunting season. He was a longtime member of the Chesterfield 4 Seasons Club in Chesterfield where he was a constant, cooking for almost every event. He leaves his beloved partner of 27 years, Cindy Dubchak of Worthington with whom he made his home. His sisters, Leasha Tear (Pete) and Rebecca Patterson and his many dear friends far and wide. Calling hours at AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 Bridge Rd., Northampton will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Saturday morning at Ahearn Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Mayher St., Easthampton.
