Carol F. (Hirst) Keller passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born October 31, 1934, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Carleton and Helen (Carroll) Hirst. She was raised in the New Bedford and Fairhaven area and attended local schools. She furthered her education at the University of Massachusetts, earning a degree in liberal arts in 1956. Carol married Francis W. Keller, Jr, a Northampton native, and they settled in Northampton to raise their family. Carol worked as a home health aide at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds for many years. Carol was a devoted communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Northampton. She was an avid bridge player. Besides her parents, Carol was sadly predeceased by her loving husband Francis W. Keller, Jr in 2017, her granddaughter Erin Elizabeth Keller, and her brother David M. Hirst. She is survived by her six devoted children: William F. Keller of Pittsfield, Stephen F. Keller of Wasilla, Alaska, John M. Keller of Royersford, Pennsylvania, David P. Keller and his wife Dianne of Wasilla, Alaska, Robert W. Keller of Northampton, and Ellen L. Keller of Northampton, her former daughter-in-law, Wendy A. Keller of Raleigh, North Carolina, a grandson Seth D. Keller of Wasilla, Alaska, and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. FAMILY AND FRIENDS MAY GATHER DIRECTLY AT ST.
