Brian Jay Tennyson

Brian J Tennyson was born on August 11th, 1962, to Chester and Mary Tennyson in Northampton Massachusetts. Brian passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2023, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Brian attended Elementary School in Northampton and then went to Easthampton High School. Brian moved to Florida with his father and then attended Gulf Breeze High School in Pensacola, Florida where he graduated in 1980. He enjoyed drag racing, planting his vegetable garden every year, Fishing and Hunting with his family. Brian worked as a collision repair technician for 41 years. He owned Wayside Auto Body in Northampton until its sale in 2002. Brian opened Brian’s Auto Body in Goshen with his son Brian Jr in 2013. Brian was predeceased by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Tennyson of Goshen, Massachusetts, His son Brian Tennyson Jr. of West Springfield, Massachusetts, his stepson Christopher McCallum of South Hadley Massachusetts, 2 Brother’s Chester Tennyson of Hull, Massachusetts, and Paul Serfass of Virginia, 2 sisters Nancy Moriarty of Westfield, Massachusetts and Pamella Wright of Easthampton, Massachusetts and many other Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at Ahearn Funeral Home in Northampton on April 29th from 10AM to 12PM. A private service will be held at a later date for the family.
