Ann Wilson of Florence, Massachusetts died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Ann was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Fagan) Wilson. Ann grew up in Southborough, Massachusetts, attending local schools and graduating from Algonquin Regional High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Salem State University. She later graduated from the University of Massachusetts where she received her Master’s degree in social work. Ann worked in the social work field for many years and maintained her own practice for the past twenty years as a licensed Psychotherapist in the Northampton area. Ann was well respected amongst her peers who had often sought her advice and guidance for their own practices. She cherished the many trusted and loyal friends she made throughout her entire life, particularly those helping her during the last few months of her illness. Ann enjoyed gardening in her spacious yard in Florence. She loved traveling to Cape Cod visiting with family and friends, particularly the Wellfleet and Truro area. She will be remembered as a humorous and loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She leaves her devoted daughter Hannah Wilson of Florence; her sisters Elizabeth Martin of Franklin, Patricia Swenson (Paul) of Chatham; and brother William Wilson (Bessie) of Ashland. Ann was predeceased by her brothers Peter Wilson, John Wilson and Thomas Wilson and her brother-in-law Donald Martin.
